Following the Royal Air Force College Cranwell Colin flew search and rescue Wessex helicopters in the Gulf - but flying was not to be his enduring career.
When he was seven he was given his father’s wartime Kodak 'Bullet' camera but it was a chance introduction to Julie Andrews' husband film producer Blake Edwards in 1976 that really started his passion for photography. Invited onto the set of the Peter Sellers' classic "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" at Shepperton Studios it was stills photographer David Farrell who further fired his enthusiasm when, during a break in filming, he was offered a short photo shoot with leading fashion model and actress Maud Adams. From that moment on photography has played a major part in his life.
The day after the shoot he bought new Nikon and Hasselblad cameras, handed in his notice and has been involved with photography, design and marketing ever since.
