why use us and what do we charge?
The internet is now the starting point for 85% of UK home buyers. You may have a great property but if the first image the buyer sees is not captivating they will quickly move on to the next offering and may not even give yours a second look! For many buyers poor photographs equate to a poor property!
Research your estate agent wisely and you will find one with
experience, local knowledge, good negotiating skills and an
excellent web presence but many agents are the first to admit
they are not necessarily good photographers.
With digital surely anyone can take a picture?
Indeed, but in actual fact interior photography is one of the most technically demanding fields within the profession. A typical interior shot in daylight presents a huge difference in brightness between the lighting inside the room and that which floods in through the windows. That is why typical agency shots often show “blown out” white boxes where the windows should be and badly lit, grainy interiors with sloping verticals.
In this current market good photography
is even more essential and first impressions
really count....
A small price to pay
The best agents will normally print your sales brochure using between 10 and 15 images. Based on this our pricing structure is very simple and is not dependent on the size or value of your property.
Our minimum charge is £300 for a 12 shot package or £350 for 15 shots. Additional images are £20 each thereafter - It’s that simple. (Night photography is by negotiation). Our prices include the photo shoot, all post production (editing), two CDs of the high resolution images plus an online gallery and ‘slideshow’ of the photographs for as long as your agent is marketing your property. Now that HIPS are no longer compulsory this is a small price to pay to greatly increase your chances of a successful sale!
Why use Cadle Design
and how much do we charge?
An up to date approach...
Although we are fully equipped with radio-controlled strobe lighting, umbrellas and reflectors (should we ever need them) we now prefer to use a technique referred to as ‘HDR’ (High Dynamic Range) which employs multiple exposures and no artificial lighting. This means we spend less time in your home and the results tend to look much more natural. In most cases we are able to balance light from the windows to retain their detail and showing any views where possible whilst cleanly illuminating each room set. We pay great attention to detail like keeping vertical lines vertical, removing colour casts and lens distortions to deliver a well lit, balanced overall composition.
